Environmental ergonomics
Human Engineering has the capability to specify and review proposals for lighting and heating within the environment, and model the environmental conditions in a graphical software tool.
We understand, and are skilled at applying, the CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers) guidance to ensure that the environmental conditions within a room are in line with best practice.
We are used to liaising with heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) manufacturers and light fitting suppliers, in order to develop an environmental specification that meets the needs of the specific user population.
As part of our work we also review existing environments and provide a range of improvement measures, where appropriate, that are tailored to meet the specific constraints of the project.
