Human Engineering has supported many projects involving the design of innovative new products.
Our knowledge of human behaviour, bio-mechanics and anthropometry allows us to support design teams in the development of new concepts. Early ergonomic input results in the reduction of the number of design iterations, as target user populations and detailed user requirements are used to drive the design process.
We have supported the design of a wide range of consumer products, including work on gardening equipment, vacuum cleaners, cookers and computer input devices.
Our support includes the provision of specific ergonomic data or design input, or the design and running of usability trials during prototype development.
